RACES

The following species are allowed without problems or other <u>near-human species</u>. Any other will have some drawbacks that might be a big hindrance or hamper involvement or enjoyment.
The reason why will be made clear the further we get in the campaign.

Humans
Brawn 2, Agility 2, Intellect 2, Cunning 2, Willpower 2, Presence 2
Wound Threshold: 10 + Brawn
Strain Threshold: 10 + Willpower
Starting Experience: 110 XP
Special Abilities: Humans start the game with one rank each in two different non-career skills of their choice. they still may not train these skills above rank 2 at character creation.

Mirialans
Brawn 2, Agility 3, Intellect 2, Cunning 1, Willpower 2, Presence 2
Wound Threshold: 11 + Brawn
Strain Threshold: 10 + Willpower
Starting Experience: 100 XP
Special Abilities: Mirialans begin the game with one rank in Discipline and one rank in Cool. they still may not train Discipline or Cool above rank 2 during character creation.

Zabrak
Brawn 2, Agility 2, Intellect 2, Cunning 2, Willpower 3, Presence 1
Wound Threshold: 10 + Brawn
Strain Threshold: 10 + Willpower
Starting Experience. 100 XP
Special Abilities: Zabrak begin the game with one rank in Survival. They still may not train Survival above rank 2 during character creation.
Fearsome Countenance: Zabrak add automatic '1 advantage' to all Coercion checks they make.

Chiss
Brawn 2, Agility 2, Intellect 3, Cunning 2, Willpower 2, Presence 1
Wound Threshold: 10 + Brawn
Strain Threshold: 10 + Willpower
Special Abilities: Chiss begin the game with one rank in Cool. They still may not train Cool above rank 2 during character creation.
Infravision: Chiss have adapted to be able to see both the infrared and normal visual spectra. This enables Chiss character to remove up to one 'setback die' added to checks by lightning conditions.

Arkanian Offshoot

Strain Threshold: 10 + Willpower
Starting Experience: 110 XP
Special Abilities: Arkanian Offshoots begin play with one rank in any two career skills. they still may not train those skills above rank 2 during character creation.
Determination: Arkanian Offshoots may choose to suffer 1 Strain to receive a free 'boost die' to a single Brawn or Agility-based check made on their turn.

Zeltron
Brawn 2, Agility 2, Intellect 2, Cunning 2, Willpower 1, Presence 3
Wound Threshold: 10 + Brawn
Strain Threshold: 10 + Willpower
Starting Experience: 90 XP
Special Abilities: Zeltrons begin the game with one free rank in Charm. they still may not not train Charm above rank 2 during character creation.
Empathy: Opponents attempting to use Charm or Deceit on a Zeltron receive one 'setback die' on their roll.
Pheromones: Zeltrons receive a free 'boost die' when making Charm or Deceit rolls against opponents they are engaged with.

Miraluka

Skills: Miraluka start with one free rank in Perception and Vigilance. They cannot raise either skill above 3 at character creation.

Special: Second Sight- The Miraluka are naturally born without eyes, however they are not blind. The race perceives naturally through the Force. This functions similar to normal vision however it is more tactile, the user's sight is like touch, and the Miraluka can make perception checks to perceive things through the force that may be unperceivable to other species, connection to the force, alignment, and energy fields (Difficulty at Gm's Discretion). The Miraluka also are not affected by conditions of bright light or darkness and cannot see or use objects that depend on it.

Also the Miralukan Sight makes objects appear transluscent and ghostly almost like ice, and generally are shades of white. Organic objects and things connected to the force may instead have different coloring based on emotions and alignment and appear more solid.
